Established in 2009, we work to create effective, impactful boards and committees though expert advice and practical guidance. We stay current on global hot topics through annual training at Stanford, Harvard and Cambridge University.

Henri Eliot is the Founder of Board Dynamics, author of the best selling corporate governance book ‘Board Shorts’ and part-time adjunct lecturer at the University of Auckland.
Henri received his LLB (Hons) from the University of London, his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from McGill University, his MBA from Richmond University, Master’s of Legal Studies from the University of Auckland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. Henri is currently pursuing a part-time Master’s at the University of Cambridge in Sustainability Leadership.
Henri is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and Associate Member of Arbitrators & Mediators Institute of New Zealand. He trained as a mediator at Harvard Law School.

Henri is currently the Chairman of Balle Bros Group and Dodson Motorsport, Trustee of Plunket Foundation and Great Potentials Foundation.
Jane Plowman is responsible for analysing boardroom information for key insights. She is also an accredited AMINZ trained mediator. Jane has extensive experience in the disciplines of business analysis and research, having held Senior Business Analyst positions within the Information and Communication Technology sector, both in New Zealand and Canada. Prior to joining the team in 2011, Jane has previously worked at SCL (acquired by Simpl), Peace Software, Navman Wireless, Imarda, Sovereign Insurance, Kern Mobile and EROAD.
Jane holds a BA from Canterbury University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Information Systems from the University of Auckland. She is currently pursuing a part-time Masters in Psychotherapy.

Senior business consultant focused on People, Performance and Culture Change Management. Passionate about working with management teams in delivering pragmatic, effective and robust outcomes that are sustainable and always focused on the people dynamics of a business. Multi-sector experience includes the Education, Manufacturing, Information Technology and Communications (ITC), Financial Services Industry (FSI), Mining, Utilities and Public Services.
Martin is a highly experienced executive having held a number of senior leadership positions in New Zealand and overseas. Beginning his career in Management Consulting (based in London), Martin worked with companies across a number of Industry sectors from Financial Services, Transport, Manufacturing, Retail, logistics and in the Public sector in Europe, Asia and Africa. These engagements often focused on helping businesses successfully navigate difficult and high stakes challenges and opportunities, establishing a clear course and direction for the organisation and its people. His work for Strategy and Transformation has been recognised Internationally through a series of Industry awards. Moving to New Zealand 12 years ago, Martin has held senior leadership positions in corporate strategy, people and business model transformations and also held COO positions in complex businesses. Martin also participates on expert panels regarding strategy, business model redesign, strategy execution and business transformation.
Richard graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Philosophy (Honours). He is a highly experienced HR professional with over 20 years experience in the HR, ER and corporate law fields working for 4 of New Zealand’s largest and most successful organisations: Chapman Tripp, Fletcher Challenge, Telecom NZ and TVNZ. Richard has a proven track record of working as an HR business partner of large business units, providing strategic HR advice and leading large teams of HR professionals.
Jason’s professional career has been in Corporate and Institutional Banking in New Zealand and Australia. He has worked for major trading banks including HSBC, BNZ and CBA. His experience covers a range of industry sectors including Auto/Parts Manufacture, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Resources, Education, Local Government, various Manufacturing and Export businesses, Property/Real Estate and Agribusiness. He also has a deep working knowledge of offshore markets including Australia, USA, Europe and Asia.
David has extensive experience over many years as a Taranaki dairy farmer, and his family business interests include dairy farming, transport and aquaculture. He has held directorships in the dairy, retail, and electricity sectors and in rugby.
